“It was really awesome. The captain was wonderful and Maggie was a great guide. Everything about the trip was amazing!!!” ~ Mike M., Canandaigua, New York
“We went on this tour on a Friday morning and the boat was full, but not so much so that we couldn’t see. We came up on dolphins pretty quickly and the guides did a great job at staying with them so we got the max amount of time to watch them possible. This was definitely worth the trip.” ~ Stephanie R., Stafford, Virginia
“We wanted to see some Dolphins, and that is what we got! Our tour guide, Tara, was energetic, knowledgeable, and great with the kids! I really like how the tour guides are interns and studying dolphins for school and they are collecting data as we are on the tour. Not only were we enjoying the tour but I felt like we were helping the Dolphins at the same time! Tara even had the kids on the tour help with the data collection such as checking the water temperature and salt content. We saw a lot of Dolphins and they were really close to us! One piece of advice to travelers that we learned on the tour is that the water gets really hot during the day, so it is best to go on over cast days or early morning or evening. It was over cast and drizzling when we went and all the Dolphins were out!! Great tour!!!” ~ Heather G., Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania
“We have vacationed in the Outer Banks a few times now but have never gone dolphin watching. I’m so glad that we finally did it! Just an amazing experience! Fun pontoon ride, nice and informative guides, and many many beautiful, friendly, up close dolphins!!” ~Heidi W., East Lansing, Michigan
“We went on the 3pm dolphin tour. The crew was professional and knowledgeable. They gave us many fun facts about dolphins and research. It was very kid friendly. We saw lots of dolphins and they came fairly close to our boat. My five year old was fascinated by watching for the dolphin fins to appear. My 16 year old also enjoyed herself. The crew involved the kids in performing tests on the water.” ~ Dianne S., Morgantown, West Virginia.
“Our trip was on 16th June, 2012. It’s a pretty good experience. we got to see dolphins for first time, and thoroughly enjoyed watching them. Even though we reached late (due to mess up with the address), the crew on board received us warmly and were telling us some cool info about the dolphins.. There were lots of kids as well on board, and everyone had a good time. The only problem we had was the heavy winds – I would suggest carrying jackets even if you think it’s a pretty warm day.” ~ Arun K., Raleigh, North Carolina
